Welcome
Lime Oaks Riding Centre is an established Riding School in the Selby area. Fully insured and licensed by Selby District Council, we aim to teach adults and children of all abilities to ride. Your enjoyment, learning and safety is of paramount importance to us, and with that in mind, please read through our website and see for yourselves.
We offer a wide range of opportunities here at Lime Oaks Riding Centre; from private and group tuition to helping you succeed in your Duke of Edinburgh award, we are here to help.
Our main goal is supporting you. To do this we offer a wide range of classes for all abilities using different types of training, including: Show Jumping, Hacking, Gymkhana games and Cross Country.
Alongside such activities, we also partake in The Pony Club, meaning you can enjoy more than just a riding lesson once a week. To learn more about how to join in the fun, head to our ‘Pony Club’ page.
Instructor Heather Talbot (BHS - British Horse Society - Stage IV) has vast experience in the equine world, having previously been a British Horse Society Riding & Road Safety Trainer and Examiner; BHTB/ NVQ Assessor; and holds a certificate of Education. Using this knowledge she has previously been a lecturer at Askham Bryan College before leaving to begin Lime Oaks Riding Centre.
We are a family run business combining professionalism with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. The aim is to provide the best riding experience and understanding of the equestrian world for our customers.
